Having frequented the Mighty Bread Co. on several occasions, decided to stop on a cold and rainy Friday. Known for their excellent bread selections. I decided to try the grilled cheese and tomato soup, pain au raisin pastry and deaf latte. My dining companion ordered the mozzarella and prosciutto sandwich and a morning bun.
The pain au raisin pastry buttery and flakey to compliment the raisins. Grilled cheese crispy and buttery on the outside and soft with all that gooey cheese on the inside which paired well with the tomato soup creating a warm and coz bite. Morning bun was flakey and not too sweet for a pastry with hints of cinnamon with every bite. Mozzarella and prosciutto sandwich was the perfect salty bite which was offset by the arugula and pesto spread.
If you’re ever in the Philadelphia area and searching for a warm and cozy spot to have a nice a fulfilling lunch or grab a snack, I highly recommend the mighty bread co. Stop in and say hi, their staff is very friendly and welcoming.
