Yogurt Parfait
As part of my healthy morning routine, fruit, oatmeal and eggs are usually my go breakfast foods on a daily basis. After not liking yogurt growing up because of its tangy flavor in nature reminding me of buttermilk. Now, older in life, I have come to love yogurt so much, I even drink yogurt when I don’t have time to sit and eat a bowl. My favorite yogurts to eat are Icelandic yogurt such as Siggis and Icelandic Provisions. Plain versions of both yogurts are loaded with probiotics, high protein and low milk fats. Paired with trail mix, granola and fruit makes for a well balanced breakfast. You can mix whatever toppings you want to compliment your taste buds.
Ingredients
¾ Cup - Plain Yogurt (I prefer Icelandic)
½ Cup - Trail Mix
½ Cup - Granola
2 tsp - Honey (Optional)
