As a frequent traveler and explorer of our nations landscape, I’m always in search of good espresso and baked goods at any local independent coffee house. Cut to 2015 in the Italian Village section of Columbus, Ohio stumbling up upon this black industrial style building with a fox painted on the outside wall. Fox in the Snow, a coffeeshop and bakery that specialize in coffee brewed from Maine with scratch made baked goods and sandwiches. Inside browsing the menu of coffee beverages and food offerings, I was ready to make my selections. Decaf latte with a splash of simple syrup because caffeine doesn’t agree with me or my anxiety. I also ordered the souffléd egg sandwich and a blueberry galette. The latte arrived and was silky smooth with no after burnt taste. The soufflé egg sandwich was the perfect brunch food along with the blueberry galette for the sweet and savory piece making it a complete balanced meal. If you are in the area make sure to stop into one of their 3 location throughout the Columbus area, you won’t be disappointed.
